The Rabbit- Proof Fence
The Rabbit Proof Fence was an excellent movie. I really liked it. It kept you at the edge of your seat and it was intense with its back round music. I learned a lot about the Aboriginies culture and the way the Europeans treated them. I didn't think it was fair to take away their half-cast children and breed the black out of them, just because they didn't want two cultures, they wanted dominate white. They wouldn't let them speak their own language; they taught them proper English. They wouldn't let them wear their own clothes; they would dress them properly how the Europeans would dress. They changed everything in their life; everything that they had learned, everything that they were taught, was now forbidden to practice. They treated them fairly. They didn't kill them and put them into furnaces and have concentration camps where they would kill them. They gave them good food, and as long as you obeyed, they wouldn't hit you and punish you. My thought was, why would you take the children from the parents.? It's bad enough the parents have to keep hiding them from the Europeans. I felt really bad when the men came and took gracie, and Molly and Daisy never saw there sister again. What I didn't understand was, why did they call them half-casts? I understood that they were half of two cultures, but I didn't get casts. It was amazing how Molly knew that that man was lying to her and her sisters about their mom waiting for them at the train station. Its like she read his mind he was going to turn them in. It amazed me how this had been going on for years and the government just recently apologized for what they had done was wrong. But its to late for sorry, saying sorry wouldn't bring back the souls who went through the pain and stress they went through.

HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
What I did for Halloween was sit at home and spend the special day with my mom. She was born on "Devils nigh". When she was little, her siblings used to tease her and call her a Goblin because she was born on Halloween. We ran a few errands; grocery shopping, house shopping, and clothes shopping. I was excited to go out with my friend Liz and go Trick-Or-Treating. When we finished running our errands, Liz called me and we talked about were we are going to go Trick-Or-treating for some free candy. But once I got off the phone, my mom asked me if I had any homework left and I said no. Once I checked my planner, I had forgotten to write my response article for English. So, I called Liz again and told her how I had forgotten to type my paper for English. I was so upset, I had just called her to make plans for the night, then I end up having to cancel them because I forgot to do my homework. And it was a holiday which makes it even worse. I didn't have a enough back round information for the original thesis I had in mind. So I had to re-read the paper and think of a thesis for my article response. It was hard. I really had a great idea, but i didn't finish my great idea. So I went with conscience thesis. It was the easiest one you could do because there were a lot evidence of The Man in the well representing being conscience to the kids. After typing that, we went to pick up my brother from his friends house. He went Trick-Or-Treating. He got three pounds of candy and he wouldn't share any with me. "Get your own!" he said. "I didn't go out Trick-Or-Treating" I said. "Well, thats not my problem" he said. But when we wasn't looking, I managed to sneak into his bag and snag four candy bars; Twix, Babe Ruth, Herseys, Almond joy, and Snickers. Those are my favorite candy bars. then, my brother and I watched The boy who cried Were Wolf. It was a special movie on Nickelodeon starring Victoria Justice. An hour later, I had to listen to my brothers stupid story on his adventure of Trick-Or-Treating with his friend. I went to bed after that. It defenetly wasn't a Halloween I wanted to spend doing.

The miners from Chile rewarded
So we all herd how the miners were stuck in a mine for 70 days. We are all happy that they all made it out safely and happy to see them re-unite with their families, but are we happy they get all these nice awards? Yeah, you herd me, awards. They have 10,000 dollars already waiting for them in their bank accounts. We all might as well get stuck in a mine and "supposevely" the cave caves in, and we should wait 70 days and after that 70 days, we all get 70 dollars waiting in our bank accounts. No, it wouldn't happen like that because, if we all got stuck in a mine, our banks would go bankrupt and there would be no money for people to have. The miners don't deserve 10,000 dollars.

Stevenson Homecoming 2010
It was a night to remember. My friend Graycen and I were so excited for this years 2010 Homecoming. We knew for sure it was going to be a night of all nights. We always talked about it since the day we started school. We took pictures of our dresses and sent it to each other to see what they looked like. Both of our dresses were purple, our heels were black, and we wore our hair curled and wore it down. We looked so beautiful. We went out to eat at Bar and Louies near Lurel Park mall. We ate so much, that our stomachs looked like we had muffin tops. Off to Homecoming we go! When Gracyens mom pulled up and the stop sign, Graycen and I could barely walk, we were so excited. Just as we turned the corner, there was a huge line waiting to get in the dance. There were so many people. Finally when we got in, we met up with some of our other friends, and our night of nights began when we walked into the competition gym and herd the D.J. playing our songs.
